Meet the teacher, Mrs. Fry Formally Ms. McLain and now MRS. FRY! I recently married May 25th 2012 I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my class and tell you a little about myself. I graduated from ASUwest with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I completed my Masters Degree in Early Childhood with a Reading endorsement from NAU in 2008. I have been teaching in the Deer Valley school district since 2001. I have taught 2nd grade, first grade and the majority of my years have been spent in kindergarten. I truely enjoy this grade level and age group. It has been my absolute favorite grade. Some of my interest and hobbies are traveling and experiencing the different places and countries that are out there. I also enjoy hiking, working out and horse back riding. I have two dogs Maddy a puggle and Shoogs a pug. I am looking forward to meeting each and every new student/parent and getting to know you throughout the year. We will be learning so much, so it is important that parents and I are a team working together for the same common interest, your child.
*Learning and education is a continuous adventure throughout life.*
A Kindergarten Philosophy "All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be, I learned in Kindergarten... These are the things learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together." - Robert Fulghum
